How the founder of 100 Celsius is building anomaly detection and automated reporting into its core service offering

THE CHALLENGE

Bryan Starck runs 100 Celsius, a subscription growth agency managing email, SMS, and retention strategy for ecommerce brands. As the agency scaled, Bryan faced a problem familiar to most agency owners: how do you deliver a high level of strategic oversight across a growing client roster without everything running through you?

A big part of that answer was reporting and monitoring. Bryan's clients wanted confidence that someone had eyes on their subscription business at all times, not just when something broke. But building that kind of coverage manually, logging into dashboards, pulling data, interpreting trends, and flagging anomalies was time-intensive and nearly impossible to delegate without sacrificing quality.

"It's this feeling that they're missing a bunch of stuff. Nobody's got eyes on everything and something could be chugging along underneath the surface broken. They feel like they're always coming to their agencies with stuff. We should be bringing things to them."

THE SOLUTION

Bryan partnered with Flaunt to build an automated anomaly detection and reporting workflow using Flaunt's subscription intelligence model and templates feature. Starting with Magic Mind as the test case, the team built a recurring weekly report that monitors key subscription metrics across Bryan's Skio client base, flags meaningful changes in churn, campaign-attributed cancellations, and subscriber behavior, and delivers a summary to his team every Monday morning before the week starts.

One of the first things the report surfaced was the relationship between Klaviyo flows and subscriber cancellations. By pre-calculating the last Klaviyo touchpoint prior to each Skio churn event, Flaunt was able to identify which flows and campaigns were disproportionately correlated with cancellations, giving Bryan's team a clear, actionable starting point each week rather than a blank dashboard to interpret.

THE RESULTS

With the anomaly detection reports now running across his Skio client base, Bryan's team starts every week with a clear picture of what needs attention and what is performing well, without anyone having to manually pull data or log into multiple dashboards.

The reports have also changed what 100 Celsius can promise clients. Rather than reacting to problems after the client notices them, Bryan's team can proactively flag issues and bring insights to clients before they become a concern. That shift, from reactive to proactive, is a meaningful differentiator in how the agency positions its service.

For Bryan, the commercial case proved straightforward. With accurate, trusted output being delivered consistently, he rolled Flaunt out across his full Skio client base and folded the cost into his agency's core operational infrastructure.
